Steel profiles and substructures for ground-mount solar power plants, calculated for each site.
Zaimex Steel manufactures the steel profiles and substructures that carry the modules of a solar power plant. Because the profiles are produced in-house, section and height are matched to each project instead of being taken from a fixed range.
The aim is to lower the structural cost of a solar investment. Every structure is calculated for the conditions of its site, and the static design is prepared and checked before production.
Profiles are hot-dip galvanized for long outdoor service, and the structure is supplied together with the fittings, fasteners and earthing strips it needs.
What producing the profiles in-house brings to a solar plant project.
Cold-formed sections for the posts, rails and bracing of the mounting structure. Section height h is the web height of the profile.
Plain channel section without lips.
Lipped channel; the lips stiffen the flange edges.
Z section with lipped flanges pointing in opposite directions.
Wide-flange section used in tracker structures.
The steel structure is supplied together with the parts needed to complete the installation.

The loads on a solar structure depend on where it stands. Each project is calculated for its own site conditions and requirements, and the static design is prepared and checked before production starts.
Zaimex Steel mounting structures are built for ground-mount solar power plants, where rows of modules are carried on steel posts and profiles over open land.
Profile section and height are chosen for the module layout and the loads of each site.
