Steel Laser

High-precision laser cutting for automotive, HVAC, furniture, medical and aerospace industries.

Product Detail

Laser Cut Profiles

Beyond supplying circular, square and rectangular hollow section profiles, Zaimex Steel offers precision laser cutting directly on the pipes and box profiles we manufacture. Multi-axis laser cutting heads can cut complex bevels, notches, and tab-and-slot joints, and produce full 360° circumferential cuts on round, square and rectangular tube — creating parts that fit together with complete surface contact and no gap, ready for welding or assembly without additional machining.

Base Profiles

Laser cutting is a service we apply directly to the hollow section pipes, RHS and SHS profiles we manufacture in-house — not a separate raw material.

Cutting Capabilities

Laser-Cut Connection Types

Four connection styles routinely laser-cut into our tube and profile stock, so parts arrive ready for welding or assembly with no additional machining.

01

Simple Assembly Aids

Tabs, slots and locating marks cut right into the part — faster fit-up, no guesswork at assembly.

02

Simple Connections

Clean, precisely angled end cuts, ready for a straight butt joint with zero rework.

03

Extended Connections

Mitred, extended-end cuts that add more contact area — for stronger, higher-load joints.

04

Bend Connections

Ends cut to match the angle of the piece they meet, so two profiles join with full surface contact — even around a bend.

Our Process

Precision Built Into Every Cut

Our laser cutting process is built around optimized edge-scanning and touch-probe sensing: before cutting, the system checks the actual geometry of each tube or profile against the programmed design, automatically compensating for the natural bow or twist that can occur in long lengths of steel. This keeps cutting accuracy tight — typically within a few tenths of a millimeter — even across long production runs, giving every part the dimensional consistency and repeatable quality your project needs, cut after cut. Multi-axis cutting also lets us perform cutting, beveling and hole-drilling in a single pass, rather than moving parts between separate machines — reducing handling time and keeping tolerances consistent from part to part.

We take the same meticulous approach with every custom project brought to us.
