Because Zaimex Steel produces the pipes and profiles that fences are built from, a fence system can be designed around the project rather than around a fixed catalogue. Post section, wall thickness, steel grade and length are chosen together.

All posts are made from galvanized steel with a 270–300 g/m² zinc coating for outdoor service, in grades from DX51D+Z up to S550GD+Z.

Round pipe is the usual choice for the vertical members of a fence, where strength and stiffness matter most. Square, rectangular and special-section profiles carry the framework and can also form the visible, decorative parts of panels and gates.
Galvanized pipe and profile is the standard for outdoor fencing because the zinc layer protects the steel against corrosion. On gates and security fences, the post section and a high-yield steel grade together keep the structure rigid.
Special post sections suit different panel, mesh and gate connections. Eight sections from the range are shown below.
